A parish councillor is a locally elected representative who primarily focuses on representing the views and concerns of residents within their parish, actively participating in decision making processes at the parish council level to influence local issues like planning applications, environmental impacts and community projects, aiming to improve the quality of life within their communities by advocating for local residents’ needs to relevant authorities
